Cash bookings are where clubs quietly lose money. Someone takes prime time, then never turns up. A player with a clean record still books in one tap. But the moment you record a no-show, it goes on that player's record, and at clubs outside the EU their next cash bookings put a small refundable reservation fee on their card.
Triggered by a no-show
Regulars never see it. Once you mark someone a no-show, their next cash bookings place a small refundable hold on their card (at clubs outside the EU, for now). Nothing is charged yet. They just have something at stake.
Released when they show
They turn up, cash changes hands at the desk, and the hold is released in full. Show up and you never pay a cent extra.
A credit on your bill
Cancel inside 48h of the start, or don't show at all, and TEKKA charges the fee and credits it against your next subscription invoice. The empty court costs them instead of you.
There is nothing to switch on. Marking the no-show is what arms it, so clear yesterday's bookings each morning. Cancel with more than 48h notice and the hold is refunded in full.
A first no-show carries no deposit. The protection starts once you record that one, and grows each time the same player repeats it. The deposit isn't available at clubs in the EU yet; there, recorded no-shows still build up on the player's record and can count against them in your booking draws. TEKKA handles the deposit and nothing else. Any dispute over the full court fee stays between your club and whoever booked.

USAGE BILLING
You pay for what you use. Run more courts and the rate drops on its own. No contract, no minimum, nothing hidden. Last month's usage is charged on the 4th, and your first 3 months are free, counted from the day you create your first club.
How it works: the platform fee is a small percentage of booking income, scaled by how many courts are active. Every club gets the same product. The percentage just falls as you grow.

A booking widget handles one thing. TEKKA runs the club: every court, every payment, every revenue stream in one place, whether the booking was made here or on a partner site connected through our API. Moving over from another system? How quickly can we get started?
Your name and an email address is the whole signup. No sales call, no credit card. Add courts when you are ready, connect payments, set booking rules at whatever pace suits the team. Most clubs go live with two or three courts and expand once everyone is comfortable. The first three months are free, counted from the day you create your first club.
Before you go live, we verify your club so players can trust your page. Upload your documents once and a person on our team reviews them. We aim to finish within two business days. You can keep setting up courts and settings while that runs.
How does pricing work?
Usage-based, tied to your active courts and booking income. The tier table above has the exact rates. You pay for what you use, cancel whenever, and there is no annual lock-in. Smart Features (AI campaigns, revenue recovery, automated insights) is an optional add-on you can switch on later.
What payment methods can my players use?
That depends on your country and which providers you connect. Card, mobile wallet, bank transfer, QR code, cash at the desk, crypto. Whatever you switch on is what your players see, and all of it lands in the same place. Closing out the day takes a few minutes.

Can TEKKA handle our tournaments too?
Yes. The tournament engine handles registration, waitlists, entry-fee tracking, and automatic bracket progression across five formats: knockout, double elimination, round-robin, groups with playoffs, and Swiss. One event can run several categories at once, men's, women's, mixed, singles or doubles, with public share links, live scoring, and court holds on the same calendar your members already use. No third-party bracket site and no paper draw sheets. Entry fees are shown to players and tracked as paid or unpaid, though collecting the money is still your job.
Is TEKKA only for tennis clubs?
Tennis is what TEKKA is tuned for today. The workflows, membership rules, lottery windows, tournaments, coach tools, and group lessons all follow how a tennis facility actually operates.

Your member data is hosted in the EU and handled under GDPR. Our Privacy Policy sets out what we store and why.
Who is behind TEKKA?
TEKKA is run by TEKKA LLC, a company registered in Wyoming, United States. It is built by Krisztián Szalai, a Hungarian full-stack engineer and amateur tennis player, who wrote the platform, the mobile app and the Partner API himself. So when your club writes in, the person reading the message is the person who can fix the problem. Our EU representative is based in Budapest, Hungary.
